A Wappingers Falls, New York, woman is fighting back against the Recording Industry Association of America after being sued for illegally sharing files. This could be the first case in which the defendant of a file-sharing lawsuit defeats the RIAA. Patricia Santangelo claims that the IP address the RIAA is basing their lawsuit on is out-dated and neither she nor her children downloaded music while using the address.
