The Avett Bothers have just released a new single: “Ain’t No Man”. The song will be a part of their new album True Sadness which will be released on June 24th from American/Republic Records.
Their first album release in three years will be produced by Rick Rubin. It is a mix of their usual soulful gospel sound with a twist of alternative folk mixed in as well said Consequence Of Sound.
Bob Crawford (bassist) described the album as “more musically coherent and better executed and sonically more pleasing than the ones that came before it”
Seth Avett also shared in a press release: “I think of ‘Ain’t No Man’ as a self-motivating anthem, a kind of currency to buy a little courage when you’re having trouble feeling courageous on your own.”
“Ain’t no man can be downloaded instantly with the preorder of the album, which began yesterday.
