Cage The Elephant has announced that they will be coming to New York City’s Central Park SummerStage for a double header this May 16th and 17th as part of their upcoming tour.
The indie rock band from Kentucky announced their upcoming summer tour earlier this month that will begin in early May and continue through the summer months. The band will be hitting the road with Alaskan experimental rock band, Portugal. The Man, for the duration of the tour. But that’s not all. The two day event in Central Park will also feature BRONCHO, the emerging indie rock band who just released their newest single, Fantasy Boy, earlier this month.
For just about a decade, Cage The Elephant has been at the top of all things experimental, indie and trendy in the music world. The Grammy-nominated rock band is still on fire after the release of their fourth record, Tell Me I’m Pretty, which came out in December last year. Check out their song Mess Around that appeared on the new album.
Tickets for this two day event at the Central Park SummerStage are on sale now for $45. Tickets will also be on sale for $50 the day of the show but don’t let that fool you. This is the only location where Cage The Elephant booked back to back performances and it would be safe to assume that they did so anticipating a high demand for tickets. Don’t miss out and pick up your tickets now before it’s too late.
