The veterans of Ska from New Jersey, Streetlight Manifesto, are coming to New York City this fall to play at the Playstation Theater on October 28th.
Formed in New Brunswick in 2002, this Ska band has been through it all. In their 15-years together, they have seen endless line-up changes, released five full-length records and are consistently touring the country. Although ska is one of those “hit or miss” genres for most, Streetlight is often considered the exception and they continue to sell out venues and pump out killer music as the years press on.
The band announced The Year With No End Tour earlier this month on Facebook and is set to begin in May. In addition to the tour, the band just announced they will be releasing a 12″ vinyl of their first ever release, Demo. A re-release of old material that follows with a tour usually means an opportunity to catch some old tunes. Check out Everything Went Numb from their 2002 demo.
Tickets for Streetlight Manifesto at Playstation Theater on October 28th are on sale now for $24. Although October may seem like far away, Streetlight shows are always prone to sell out. Don’t hold off and do some skankin’ with the band this Fall.
