Multi-faceted producer, Boots just gave his audience a brand-spanking-new glimpse into the musical realm cleverly-crafted on his own steam. With this, the second-release from his eagerly-anticipated solo-effort, Aquaria, “Bombs Away” takes us one-step-closer on that journey into bliss.
Destined for greatness, Boots(born Jordan Asher) first made a splash in the mainstream with his enormous contribution to Beyonce‘s self-titled fifth studio album(2013). Having produced a whopping 85% of the record himself, it’s no wonder Jay-Z‘s entertainment imprint, Roc Nation signed him that same year to make history.
Boots’ latest cut, “Bombs Away” starts as an easy-on-the-ears groove steadily progressing into a sophisticated movement sublime. Peppered by industrial-flourishes, the genre-defying maestro unfurls his artistry through textured-synths and rhythmic-pulses.
Entertainment Weekly calls the track: “…a heady brew of electronic grooves and dark melodies…”
During an exclusive All Things Considered episode, NPR’s Bob Boilen raved: “the most interesting artist I’ve heard in 2015.”
Predominantly recognized for his producing skills fashioning the creative-styles of artists: FKA Twigs and Run the Jewels, Boots seeks to showcase his forthcoming debut, Aquaria due out November 13 via Columbia Records. Boots is currently on tour with Run the Jewels sharing his unique blend of soundscapes abroad.
