Geographer is headed out on a tour this spring that will see them traveling the US from March until the end of May. They’ll be making a stop here in Philly towards the end of their tour. You can catch them at Union Transfer on May 22nd.
Back in 2005, after several family tragedies, New Jersey native Michael Deni picked up his things and moved to San Francisco. In 2007, he formed the band Geographer and went on to release two full-length albums. Geographer released their first album, Innocent Ghosts, in 2008 and their follow up Myth in 2012. And now a third is on the way at the end of this month. Geographer’s newest release, Ghost Modern, is due out on March 24th.
They gave fans a taste of the album back in January when they released the single “I’m Ready.” You can expect to hear even more of their new music during their tour this spring, so be sure to grab the record in a few weeks and your tickets for their gig at Union Transfer.
