Austin startup RideScout is working with Rhode Island indie R&B band Young Pandas to throw the ultimate coast-to-coast roadtrip! The band is touring around the US using RideScout and other other ride providers as their primary means of transportation to travel between cities and explore when they get there, of course with a stop in Austin for a SXSW music showcase. For those not familiar, RideScout is a mobile app that shows you the quickest way to get to where you want to go, between public transit, cabs, walking, etc. so it’s clear to see why they’re taking part in the SXSW madness. The SXSW stop in the tour features a long list of bands including Kat Madamba, Boy Wonder, Outasight, 80H Project, Timothy Bloom, and many more, all free with RSVP! In addition to the free music, they’ll have a full departure lounge so you can relax and charge your phone, and plenty of free swag giveaways – read on for the full lineup and set times, and the link to RSVP!
5pm-1am Wednesday, March 18th @ The Market Rooftop, 319 Colorado Street Austin, TX 78701
Get a ticket on Eventbrite – the first 50 people to sign up get a limited edition tour tshirt! With good tunes and ways to charge your phone into the night, this one is sure to be busy, so get in early if you can and follow #LIVETHETOUR to see the latest on the event!
