It’s a reunion show that has been 20 years in the making. British shoegaze pioneers Slowdive came together for a weekend show in London that was their first since announcing that the band was getting back together.

The band stopped performing or making music following the release of their final album, Pygmalion in 1995. Ever since, the band members have been busy with solo projects, and at one point, several members of Slowdive united to form the country music-influenced band Mojave 3, but that project hasn’t been active since 1999. The band announced in January on Twitter that it would reunite for 2014 shows at the Primavera Sound Festival in Spain and Portugal. Slowdive is also scheduled to play the Electric Picnic Festival, the FYF Festival and the OFF! Festival.

Slowdive’s style hasn’t appeared to change much, and the band played a 13-song set at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen performance, mostly compiled of songs off of their 1993 hit album Souvlaki. A fan captured most of the performance on an IPhone, which you can watch in individual clips below.
