You Me at Six is a British rock band that formed in 2004. The group had their rise to fame in 2008 after the release of their debut album, Take Off Your Colours. The album included hit singles “Save It for the Bedroom,” “Finders Keepers,” and “Kiss and Tell.” “Finders Keepers” and “Kiss and Tell” reached No. 33 and No. 42, respectively, on the official UK Singles Chart. In 2011, You Me at Six won the Kerrang! Award for “Best British Band.”
Their latest album, Cavalier Youth, was announced in 2013 and released at the beginning of this year. The album was recorded in LA with producer Neal Avron, who’s worked with Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and Say Anything. The first single off of the album, “Lived a Lie,” premiered on the band’s Vevo channel and has reached nearly 2 million views.
