Although it may seem like iTunes has become the preeminent music downloading source, Napster has introduced a new pricing scheme where users can stream an unlimited number of songs and download five tracks for $5 every month – just about the same price a songs on iTunes. These songs do not require the users to download the Napster software either, but can stream the songs of their choice from any Internet-connected device.
As Napster approaches its tenth anniversary, the company has also teamed with Best Buy where customers can purchase prepaid cards that are redeemable for monthly service.
Now that the company no longer has to use their advertising to discredit the iPod, Napster users can now have full song streaming and iPod compatibility with their purchases.http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/content_display/industry/e3i505437152ed7136786f7b0a474e9f2b5
