The group responsible for the Tupac hologram are reportedly in the works on an Elvis hologram.
The King might be coming back. According to Consequence of Sound Digital Domain Media Group, the company behind Coachella’s Tupac hologram, is working on an Elvis Presley hologram. Their statement in The Hollywood Reporter states that the project is for “a series of ‘virtual’ Elvis likenesses for a range of entertainment projects” and that “concerts appear to be a clear possibility.”
An Elvis Presley hologram and possible concerts will help keep The King’s memory alive for a modern group of fans and will certainly captivate lifelong fans. This follows talk of Queen producing a Freddie Mercury optical illusion and will certainly add more to the debate of whether holograms of deceased musicians is healthy for the music industry.
