The Flaming Lips Record Store Day collaboration with Bon Iver has been released online. The song is part of the band’s larger collaboration album, that includes work with Ke$ha, Neon Indian, and Coldplay, to name a few. Pitchfork revealed the song along via The Future Heart.
The collaboration, “Ashes in the Air,” is one of the songs on The Flaming Lips upcoming collaboration album called The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, an album that will include the actual blood of some of the collaborators. The Oklahoma City rock band never ceases to shock.
