Five months after Amy Winehouse’s passing in July, two of the singer/songwriter’s collaborators, Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, have sifted through a large collection of unreleased material to bring us a new record, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, released December 5. Listen to a track, “Halftime” from the posthumous release after the jump.
“Halftime” and “Between Two Cheats” are further examples of Winehouse’s loungy R&B style, and are two of four previously unreleased cuts from the holiday release. Her Nas collaboration “Like Smoke,” and Ruby & The Romantics cover “Our Day Will Come,” have offered a digital look at the December 5 release.
Lioness: Hidden Treasures is out via the Island label.
