Sonic Youth’s November 14 performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil, may mark the end of a 30 year history for the well-known noise rockers. Though the group has not officially confirmed that the Sao Paulo performance would be their last, statements from the group’s label, Matador Records, hints that this may be the case. Moore has already announced plans to hit the road in January in support in his latest LP, Demolished Thoughts. Group co-founder Lee Renaldo is set to release a new solo album, Between The Times & The Tides’ in March.
