On the last night of their current tour for, Dynamite Steps, The Twilight Singers will perform a two set show. During the first set, the band will play their second record, Blackberry Belle, in it’s entirety.
Set for Sept. 17, tickets for the show will be made available starting July 24 at 10a.m. PST. The concert will take place in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall with ticket sales accessible here or at the box office.
Blackberry Belle is the album where The Twilight Singers’ sound truly crystallized…It captures a distinct moment in time, featuring some of my favorite songs I’ve ever written, said lead vocalist and main song writer Greg Dulli.
Initially conceived as a make-up show for a previous canceled date, Dulli decided to make the show a two set concert featuring a night showcasing the band’s career in song. For the first set the band will play through the complete track listing of their much heralded second album, Blackberry Belle, with the second featuring a set list that spans the band’s career.
The show will also feature special guests Apollonia Kotero and Mark Lanegan. Both guests were collaborators on, Dynamite Steps, with Apollonia backing up Dulli on tracks, “Teenage Wristband,” and, “Fat City,” and Lanegan on the duet, “Number Nine,” the album’s closing track.
