On March 3rd of next year, the promoters who developed Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza (C3 Presents), will host the second annual Auckland City Limits Festival with the support of Live Nation and CRS Presents. The festival was inaugurated in 2016. Although it was quite successful, there was no follow up in 2017. However in 2018, the show will return with artists like Beck, Justice, Grace Jones, The Head and the Heart, George Ezra and The Libertines. Grace Jones recently collaborated with the hip-hop group The Gorillaz, and George Ezra recently released a single titled, “Don’t Matter Now. Some of the other top performers have been busy releasing new albums over the past few years: Beck released Colors just a few weeks back, While Justice released Woman and The head and the Heart released Signs of Life in the later part of 2016 .
Along with the iconic performers, there will also be family friendly activities and booths for local art and cuisine. The festival will be hosted at the Western Springs Stadium in New Zealand. Tickets go on sale on November 1st on the festival’s website.
