Walk the Moon is an indie-pop band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Front-man, Nicholas Petricca, started the band back in 2006; he got the name of the band from The Police’s “Walking on the Moon” hit. The band currently consists of four members: Petricca on lead vocals, keys and synth, Kevin Ray on bass, backing vocals and guitar, Eli Maiman on guitar and backing vocals and Sean Waugaman on drums and backing vocals. Walk The Moon is known for painting their faces for their shows and also sometimes bringing paint for fans.

The quartet has released two studio albums. Their self-titled debut came out in 2012. Walk the Moon’s upcoming album, What If Nothing, will be out on November 10, 2017. They just released a new single at the end of September called “One Foot.” The band is currently signed to RCA Records.
