Social Media is the leading connection between fan and artist. Without the online presence, fans are left wondering aimlessly. Today, that line shattered as fans of pop sensation, Lana Del Rey got the hard blow when they signed onto their favorite singer’s social media accounts only to see nothing staring back at them.

It’s a strange feeling to view a celebrity’s social media accounts where millions of fans follow and yet see a big fat 0 in the posts section. That is the case for pop singer, Lana Del Rey who has mysteriously deleted all her Instagram feed and most of her Twitter feed. 

Like many artists in the entertainment world, Lana Del Rey has a huge following on her social media accounts including 7 million fans on Twitter and 10.4 million on Instagram. Today, though, her fan base has little to view since the singer and songwriter has simply erased a majority of her feeds minus a few posts here and there.  

Following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey has deleted a good portion of her social media posts leaving no warning or explanation about the reason behind it. The only form of social media that remains intact for Lana is her Facebook page which sees the most attention, it has 12 million fans following it.

Those few tweets that have remained include ones that help promote Lana Del Rey’s previous albums as well as a simple tweet from way back in 2009 that reads, “Love you.” You can view that tweet below.

In an exclusive interview with NME, Lana Del Rey expressed that; “Your thoughts are very powerful things and they become words, and words become actions, and actions lead to physical changes.”
