On October 24th, Queens Of The Stone Age debuted “Phantom Limb” and “Insignificant Other,” two songs from their upcoming album, Perfecth. The show took place in Iceland at Reykjavík’s Laugardalshöll, their first show since 2005. Their return to the stage doesn’t end there.

The vocal melody chosen over the chords in “Phantom Limb” creates a haunting tune with a soaring chorus. While there are somber elements to the song, the rhythm section keeps a steady groove. The studio version of the song will be available on October 30th along with the entire album.

NME tells us the setlist for the Iceland show included “Tangled Up In Plaid”, which hasn’t been performed in eight years. QOTSA also performed another song from their new album, “Where The Goth Girls At?” Some of their biggest hits were featured as well, including “Go With The Flow”, “Little Sister”, “Make It Wit Chu”, “No One Knows” and “A Song for the Dead”.Queens of the Stone Age will begin touring in May to support their upcoming album. They’ll be joined by Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp with a pre-sale beginning on October 28th with a sign up deadline on the 25th.
