Cornell University has cancelled an upcoming Between Friends concert. An anonymous Jane Doe recently sued Cornell, claiming she was sexually assaulted by multiple people at a fraternity party in 2024.

Jane Doe’s report to the police resulted in the expulsion of two students, although the other alleged participants did not face such repercussions. The Cornell Concert Commission previously scheduled a show for October 17, where the DJ duo Between Friends would perform. Stereogum tells us “The duo of siblings Brandon and Savannah Hudson have gained a lot of streaming popularity since competing on America’s Got Talent in 2013.”

The Cornell Concert Comission’s official cancellation statement said “We are deeply sorry to share that the Homecoming Concert with Between Friends has been canceled…The Cornell Concert Comission is a student-run organization and, as students, we stand with Jane Doe and all survivors of sexual violence.”
