Vic Mensa and his band will perform two sets on November 10th at Blue Note Jazz Club. The night will be the final stop on the INNANETOUR, an intimate four-city run celebrating the release of his debut mixtape, INNANETAPE, on streaming platforms.
Mensa first released INNANETAPE for free on SoundCloud in 2013. Prior to its release, Vic Mensa gained some notoriety as a member of Chicago-based hip hop group Kids These Days. When the group split, Mensa featured on Chance the Rapper’s “Cocoa Butter Kisses”. The two would pair up again on INNANETAPE on the song “Tweakin”. Since then, Vic Mensa has garnered critical acclaim, receiving a Grammy nomination in 2016. He has also collaborated with a variety of artists such as Jay-Z, Flume, Pharrell Williams, Gorillaz, Wyclef Jean, and Skrillex.
INNANETAPE will be available to stream on September 30th.
