Phoebe Bridgers is back with new music. The singer-songwriter has released “On Video,” an original song written by Bridgers, Jack Antonoff, and Christian Lee Hutson for A24’s new film PRIMETIME. The track arrives alongside the movie’s theatrical release and marks Bridgers’ first original song written for the end credits of a feature film. It also follows the release of her latest album, Lost Weekend.
Bridgers focuses on surveillance and the way recording other people has become part of everyday life. The idea connects directly to PRIMETIME, which explores the legacy of To Catch a Predator and the increasingly blurred line between watching and being watched.

In the song’s accompanying video, Bridgers appears alongside imagery connected to the film, with footage that leans into its unsettling, surveillance-heavy atmosphere. The result feels less like a traditional performance video and more like an extension of the movie’s strange, noir-inspired world.
PRIMETIME, directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo and Bridgers, is in theaters now. The full soundtrack features “On Video” alongside 24 original score tracks from composer Ari Balouzian.
