Remi Wolf Drops New Song “Bottle” And Announces New Album Mud For October 2026 Release

On August 20th, Remi Wolf released a new song called “Bottle” the second single that will be on her new album Mud coming out on October 9th. “Bottle” is about Wolf’s reflection on her sobriety and the emotional difficulties that come with that. The visuals show this by Wolf being at the beach inside a plastic bubble walking and running not knowing where she’s going, dancing with multiple inflatables, her being in the sand and her face being captured inside a glass bottle, because they show how Wolf is impacted by alcohol and how it is consuming but also needed. The lyrics show this by Wolf saying, “Sweet, sweet nicotine, Rough and tough and mean”, “I’m going off and on and off again, On and off and on again”, “I can’t get the bottle if I don’t get up” and “I pull up, scrеw my head on straight, I grew up and I stay the same”. The guitar, drums, synthesizer, bass and warm harmonies used on the track give the song a funk and bedroom pop feel that uplifts her listeners and shows vulnerability from the singer’s own life.

Wolf said that, “I made ‘Mud’ with some of my closest friends and family, and I think because I felt so safe with them, I could kind of crack my chest open and let whatever was in there crawl out. Sometimes it was really sad, sometimes it was disgusting, sometimes it was hilarious. There was no pressure to make myself make sense. I could just be. We followed whatever felt alive. I think that’s why the record feels the way it does. It’s emotional and messy and joyful and full of love” (Remi Wolf’s New Album Press Release). The full track list for Mud includes:
