Photo Review: Young the Giant at The Rooftop at Pier 17

Not many things compare to a Young the Giant concert. From fans who have seen them over 10 times to those who have been waiting half their lifetime to go to their show. And to make it even more magical, at one of the most beautiful venues in New York City, The Rooftop at Pier 17. From sunset to sundown, Sameer Gadhia, along with the rest of the incredible band, brought an energy that perfectly captured their music. The one and only upset would come from fans who were not lucky enough to see former Glee star Darren Criss, who surprised the crowd with a performance of “Cough Syrup” the night before. A cover that took a generation by storm. The Young the Giant show was full of dance, laughter and nostalgia. This was truly an unforgettable experience.

Young The Giant

Cold War Kids opened for Young the Giant on June 19th at The Rooftop at Pier 17. This group had a stage presence that caught the attention of everyone in the crowd. With a perfect mixture of vibes from song to song, their setlist was impeccable. Cold War Kids is a band that speaks to their audience in more ways than one.
