Charli xcx embarks on a fall North American arena tour in support of her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, out on July 24th. She arrives in NYC for a two-night run at Barclays Center on September 14th and 15th with support from Underscores.

Growing up in Essex, Charli xcx began posting songs on MySpace in 2008 and was invited by a promoter to perform at warehouse raves and parties in East London. She quickly established herself as a prolific collaborator, getting her first big break in 2012, when Swedish pop duo, Icona Pop, recorded her song, “I Love It,” featuring her original vocals which became a number one hit in England and reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 list. In 2014, she was featured on Iggy Azalea’s hit, “Fancy,” which became her most streamed song and one of the year’s best selling singles worldwide. Charli xcx released her debut album, True Romance, in 2013 to positive reviews by critics. 

After many more albums and a steadily growing fanbase, Charli xcx released her most popular album yet, BRAT, in 2024, skyrocketing her to mainstream success and winning her multiple BRIT Awards, Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, and many more. An homage to the London clubs where she got her start, the album features hits like “Apple” with its viral TikTok dance and the dopamine fueled “Von Dutch.” The album became a defining cultural moment, leading to the massive BRAT Summer movement that urged its members to embrace unapologetic confidence, messy self-acceptance, and the chaotic, imperfect, and party-loving sides of life all while dressed in the neon lime green aesthetic of the album’s cover. The obsession with the album continued long past the summer on her worldwide arena tour that lasted from November to August, in which she transformed entire arenas into massive warehouse style parties with blinding strobe lights, massive LED beams, and thumping bass. With her new album coming out in July, only time will tell what this new tour has in store for fans, but if the past is any indication, it will surely be incredible.
