Lola Young Shares New Single “From Down Here”

A new chapter both personally and creatively, GRAMMY-winning singer songwriter Lola Young returns today with her new single “From Down Here.” Created with James Blake the night following the awards show, this  track marks Lola’s first new music since the release of her acclaimed album I’m Only F**king Myself and her GRAMMY-winning breakthrough with “Messy.”

Capturing the strange space between joy and pain, longing and clarity, it turns the page on her last album while pointing toward a more sonically expansive and emotionally unguarded phase of her artistry. Lola’s raw, emotionally unfiltered songwriting and rock-tinged pop have made her one of the most compelling new voices in modern music.Since then, she’s graced the cover of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music issue to speak about her year and incredible GRAMMY win for “Best Pop Solo Performance.”

Lola is returning to the stage for a run of headline United Kingdom shows that include Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and two hometown shows in London at O2 Academy Brixton. Lola will bring her live show to the United States at All Things Go in September and Austin City Limits in October.
