Show Me The Body Shares Epic New Single & Video “Dance In The USA”

New York City hardcore group Show Me The Body have released a new single and video titled “Dance In The USA,” marking their latest new music as they continue to build momentum toward their forthcoming fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2022’s Trouble The Water.

The track arrives with production from Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume III, who worked with the band during sessions at Blume’s Putnam Hill studio in Southern California. “Dance In The USA” carries the band’s usual intensity, but frames it in a more direct, sharpened forms. Visually, the accompanying video, directed by Jake Moore, expands the song’s concept into a wider reflection on movement and identity across the United States. It focuses on rhythm, bodies in motion and the idea of dance as both expression and survival, matching the track’s energy with something more conceptual and cinematic.

Lyrically, frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt describes the song as being about the way people use style and movement to get through difficult realities. It reflects on struggle, community and the small acts of persistence that define everyday life. The idea of “dance” here is less about performance and more about survival and how people navigate pressure, contradiction and change.

The release also continues a broader creative period for the band, including Pratt’s ongoing “Alone Together” conversation series, where he speaks with artists and collaborators about life, art and community. Alongside the new single, Show Me The Body have announced a busy run of upcoming live dates, including a West Coast North American tour, festival appearances and summer shows across the UK and Europe, including support slots with Deafheaven.
