The influential ’90s rock band 4 Non Blondes are reportedly back in the studio working on their first new album in 34 years. The band hasn’t released a full studio album since their 1992 debut Bigger, Better, Faster, More!. Fans of the group have reason to be excited as the comeback album could arrive as early as 2026 according to the announcement.
4 Non Blondes have signed with indie label Kill Rock Stars to release the forthcoming record, according to Pitchfork. The label is collaborating with a new imprint created by lead singer Linda Perry, called 670 Records. That imprint will also co-release Perry’s upcoming solo album, Let It Die Here.
Little is known about the content of the new album so far. No official title has been revealed yet. In a statement, Perry said that the record “will include a mix of new songs and revisited older material.”
The lineup for this reunion project includes Perry and longtime bassist Christa Hillhouse (who was the only original bandmate to remain with the group during the first era), along with two former touring members (drummer Dawn Richardson and guitarist Roger Rocha).
The group’s return comes after a string of 2025 reunion shows, which helped spark renewed interest in their music. Their sole prior studio album achieved significant success and cemented their place in rock history thanks especially to the enduring popularity of “What’s Up?.”
