Lucy Dacus’ fourth album, Forever is Feeling, makes it stop in San Francisco for a two night show at the historic Castro Theater.

Released on March 28th, 2025, Dacus’s album captures feelings of navigating relationships and love. This summer, Dacus even became ordained so that fans could get married at Dacus’ concerts. Officiating weddings to her song “Best Guess” as couples would sway to the lyrics, “If I were a gambling man, and I am/You’d be my best bet.” (Talk about romance!)

Releasing her debut album in 2016, Dacus made a name for herself in the indie genre, first in her solo career but also as a part of the supergroup boygenius. As a part of boygenius, the trio consisted of Dacus and singer-songwriters Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers.

Seven months later, on October 10th, Dacus released “Forever is a Feeling: The Archives,” featuring a collaboration with “Hozier” on the song “Bullseye,” new songs, and different versions of songs.

Built in 1922, the Castro Theater marks a historic landmark in San Francisco’s Castro District. Renovated in 2022 to accommodate more types of entertainment, with a capacity just over 1000, the venue is sure to host a very special two nights for fans of Lucy Dacus.
