The Temper Trap returned to Los Angeles last night for a sold-out show at The Fonda Theatre, filling the room with the kind of soaring, emotional energy that first put them on the map. Dougy Mandagi’s falsetto cut through waves of shimmering guitars as the band moved between newer material and fan favorites like “Love Lost” and “Sweet Disposition,” which turned the floor into a full-on singalong. By the end of the night, the crowd was glowing, and it felt less like a comeback and more like a band completely at home on stage again.
