Founded in 1996, rapper Slug (Sean Daley) and producer Ant (Anthony Davis) have made a name for themselves using hip hop as a means of storytelling and portraying their emotions. In addition, Atmosphere has been able to incorporate genres such as soul and funk in the nearly three-decade long career.

This past year on September 19th, the duo released their fourteenth studio album, “Jestures.” After the announcement, on October 21, 2025, the duo announced the Winter Carnival Tour. The tour will be making their stop in Oakland this February; fans will be able to reminisce with nostalgic hits “Sunshine” and “God’s Bathroom Floor.” With no means of stopping, Atmosphere’s sound continues to adapt, mature, and age with their fans as they continue creating.

Atmosphere will be taking over the historic Fox Theater in Oakland. With a capacity of 2,800, the venue provides fans an enjoyable time when watching their favorite artists.

With Sage Francis, R.A. The Rugged Man, Kool Keith, and Mr. Dibbs, rappers and DJs, from across the country, in support, there’s no doubt an electric atmosphere will be running through the venue that night.
