Photo Review: múm at The Regent

múm returned to Los Angeles last night for their first show in over eight years, filling The Regent with the kind of delicate chaos only they can create. The Icelandic collective stitched together layers of glitchy electronics, live percussion, and breathy harmonies that felt both intimate and transcendent. Songs drifted between fragile pop and experimental noise, carried by visuals that mirrored the group’s dreamlike energy. It was a reminder of how quietly influential múm has been and how good it feels to have them back on an LA stage again.
