The hardcore band Show Me The Body released a new music video for their song “One Train” to celebrate their 10th anniversary since their debut on Wednesday. The band’s debut album, Body War, launched the band into the underground scene in 2016.
Directed by SMTB’s Julian Cashwan Pratt and CORPUS’ Asha Maura, the “One Train” music video pays tribute to the song’s original music video. Some scenes of the new music video are recreations of the original video, refreshing viewers’ palette with a new version of the old. Filmed in Rome, the new video pictures Pratt and his daughter, along with Kung Fu teacher David Kaplan, training and roaming the city’s streets. The original music video was filmed in New York.
“One Train” and the accompanying video remind listeners of the groundbreaking and explosive nature of the band, from its release in 2014 to the present. The song originates from the band’s Yellow Kidney EP, released in 2014, and is now available for streaming on all platforms for the first time.
Over the past 16 years, Show Me The Body has released several EPS and albums, offering high-energy live performances. The band will be playing a special anniversary live show at 99 Scott in Brooklyn on October 17th, with the release of a Body War vinyl.
