British punk pioneers the Sex Pistols will be making a rare appearance in Chicago this fall for one of the most anticipated shows of the year. The legendary band will be performing at Concord Music Hall on September 19th with special guest The Molotovs.

The September 19th performance comes as part of a short string of U.S. performances, marking the group’s first time playing stateside in several years. Originally formed in London in 1975, the Sex Pistols became a cultural force with their incendiary debut album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols, featuring era-defining tracks like “Anarchy in the U.K.” and “God Save the Queen.” Known for their confrontational stage presence and lasting influence on punk music, the band is as notorious as their sound.

The Concord Music Hall performance is part of Riot Fest’s official late-night aftershow series, bringing punk’s most infamous act into an intimate setting for one night only. Fans
