New Zealand-based artist Lorde will be making her grand return to arenas in North America this fall for the first time since 2022. The “Royals” singer will be performing at the United Center on September 19th with special guests The Japanese House and Chanel Beads.

The Ultrasound Tour accompanies the release of her fourth album Virgin, produced by industry luminaries like Jim-E Stack (Bon Iver, Caroline Polacheck) and Dan Nigro (Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Caroline Polachek). Lorde, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor, debuted in 2013 with her album Pure Heroine, earning her two Grammy Awards for the lead single “Royals.” Known for her infamous four-year gap between albums, she followed her debut with the Grammy-nominated album Melodrama in 2017, Solar Power in 2021, and most recently Virgin this year.

Lorde’s latest tour marks her first time playing in arenas since 2017, after opting for smaller, more intimate venues during her 2022 Solar Power World Tour. The upgrade in venues comes after the commercial success of Virgin’s lead single “What Was That,” which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Global 200. The single earned Lorde her highest streaming debut on Spotify and critical acclaim across the board.

Don’t miss your chance to hear Lorde’s first live performances of Virgin, alongside The Japanese House and Chanel Beads, at the United Center on Friday, September 19th. Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com.
