Photo Review: Wavves & Beach Goons Live at Warsaw

As part of their Spun North American Summer Tour, Wavves brought chaos to Warsaw in Brooklyn on July 11, with San Diego’s Beach Goons, kicking off the night in explosive fashion. Playing their first New York show in years, Beach Goon’s return felt triumphant, fueled by a devoted crowd that screamed every lyric back at them. They closed their set with a fiery, punk-infused cover of “La Bamba,” sending the room into a frenzy.

When Wavves took the stage, the energy didn’t dip for a second. They leaned heavily into their new record, Spun, giving fans a taste of the band’s evolved sound. Still, they knew when to bring the nostalgia, ripping through fan favorites like “Green Eyes” and “Nine Is God” to the crowd’s delight. It was a show that honored the band’s roots while embracing where they’re headed, proving that growth doesn’t mean losing the chaos
