The Spin Doctors have announced a new album, Face Full Of Cake which is set to release in April 2025. The studio album is the first album the 90’s rock band has released in 12 years. On January 17th, the group released their first single of the album, “Still A Gorilla”. It seems the record will include twelve tracks and is seen as a “nosier, heavier sound” according to a publicist. The band’s record will be their first debut with both Capitol Records and their new bassist, Jack Daley. According to AL.com, “The band’s current lineup features three founding members — singer Barron, guitarist Schenkman and drummer Aaron Comess — plus bassist Daley, who replaced Mark White.” On top of the album release party, the band also has plenty of tour dates planned for 2025. Along with four-night residency they plan to have at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, Utah, June 5th-8th. The doors at Brooklyn Bowl on April 12th will open at 6:00, with the show following at around 8:00pm. Tickets to the release party are still on sale through Live Nation, and selling for as cheap as $38 USD. for GA Floor.
