Knockdown Center has just announced their Spring 2025 edition of its Outline series. The Outline festivals of 2025 will include two headlining shows from Michael Rother and Explosions In the Sky. Outline’s most recent show took place in September, and hosted Yaeji and Sofia Kourtesis. According to Brooklyn Vegan, two shows will take place, both on Saturdays, but two weeks apart. The Saturday March 30th show will feature krautrock icon Michael Rother playing songs from Neu! and Harmonia, plus Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, experimental Australian duo HTRK, and Japanese singer-songwriter (and Jim O’Rourke collaborator) Eiko Ishibashi. Meanwhile, the Saturday April 12th date will feature Explosions in the Sky, Mabe Fratti, múm, shoegazers They are Gutting Body of Water, Dutch electronic artist upsammy, and ethereal Mexican group Diles Que No Me Maten. Tickets to both shows are still on sale, and the April 12th show is selling for as cheap as $44 USD.
