American singer, songwriter, and former YouTube star, Poppy will be on tour in celebration of her newest album, Negative Spaces(2024), and is set to perform in Chicago at House Of Blues on Mar. 21, 2025.
Moriah Rose Pereira, professionally known as Poppy, got her start making videos on YouTube in the early 2010s. She quickly gained attention for her odd and somewhat disturbing performance art where she uploaded videos as an uncanny valley robot persona.
She began making music in 2016 with her first EP, Bubblegum. Her music is known for its experimental pop sound which she has been able to mold in many different ways throughout her music career. That same year, she released her first studio album, 3:36 (Music To Sleep To).
Since the release of her 2016 EP, she has released 10 albums, consecutively dropping one almost every year, 27 singles, and 4 EPs. Poppy has collaborated with many artists including Diplo and Knocked Loose.
Her music is unlike anything else in the music industry. She utilizes her high-pitched voice and pop-princess persona to create a well-rounded story for her albums.
