Mount Eerie at Thalia Hall on Apr. 13, 2024

After the release of his 18th studio album, Night Palace(2024), Mount Eerie will set off on tour with a performance in Chicago at Thalia Hall on Apr. 13, 2024. They will be joined on stage by opener Hana Stretton.

Mount Eerie, spear-headed by Phil Elverum is a musical project that has collaborated with many artists in the recording and the live performances of the albums. Elverum took on the name Mount Eerie after the release of his first album, Seven New Songs, in 2004. Most of the albums are released under his record label, P.W Elverum & Sun Ltd.

Mount Eerie is known for his mystical sounds and breathy vocals that oftentimes include soundbites of nature. The sound of birds is a theme scene often in his works as well as the overwhelming sound of firebombing and burning. For the most part, all of these sounds are produced in the studio and come straight from Elverums hands.

His music often feels experimental in his choice of beats and lyrics. The project, Mount Eerie is filled with passion for music and nature. Elverums goal is to be able to speak to as many people as possible through his work.

Since 2004, Mount Eerie has released 18 studio records but 20 albums together including Live albums. He has also released three EPs and 11 singles.

Mount Eerie is set to take the stage at Thalia Hall on Apr. 13, 2025, with opener Hanna Stretton. Tickets can be purchased directly through Thalia Hall’s website ThaliaHall.com.
