The Staten Island born singer/songwriter, is bringing her Annual Holiday Hop to Webster Hall on December 3rd, and into December 4th. Michaelson was raised by her mother, who was a sculptor, and her father, who was a classical composer. It was evident that Ingrid would be an artist from the influence surrounding her, and the artistry would eventually come naturally. She went on to graduate college with a musical theater degree and was touring the country in a theater troupe. Through finding her collective, Ingrid began to blossom as an artist, and writing her own songs. Most recently, in 2019, Ingrid wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway adaptation of the best-selling novel, The Notebook. Michaelson released her first studio album in 5 years, For The Dreamers, in late August. According to Silive.com, For The Dreamers consists of nine original songs and three nostalgic covers, which bring about a grounding presence to Michaelson’s music. Tickets to Ingrid’s Annual Holiday Hop are still on sale, and selling for $65.70 for General Admission.
