Illinois native K. Flay begins her tour this upcoming November and will perform in Chicago at The Vic Theatre on Mar. 7, 2025. This tour is in celebration of her newest album MONO, released in 2023, and her newest singles.
Born in Wilmette, IL, Kristine Meredith Flaherty, professionally known as K.Flay began her music career in 2009 with the release of her first studio album, Single And Famous. She has been known for her hip-hop and alternative sound while also incorporating electro-punk and indie themes.
Since the release of her first album, she has been regarded as a sensation in her work with hip-hop music. She has gone on record saying that when she started making her music, it came from wanting to change the hip-hop genre. She said many of the songs on the radio were “simplistic, misogynistic, and formulaic”.
She has released 8 albums, including two expanded editions, 6 EPs, and 35 singles.
Her newest album MONO (2023) is enveloped with a sheer rawness that makes this album unlike her previous ones.
K.Flay is set to take the stage at The Vic Theatre on Mar. 7, 2025, with opener and special guest Vienna Vienna. Tickets can be purchased now through AXS AXS.com.
