With the release of his newest album, Hole Erth, Toro y Moi announced tour dates for 2025. His performance will be held at The Salt Shed on Feb. 7, 2025, with special guest Nourished by Time and opener Panda Bear.
Chaz Bear, born Chazwick Bradley Bundick but professionally known as Toro y Moi, is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer. His music is thought to have led the chillwave genre to fame in the early 2010s.
His career has developed in several ways, which have led him straight to the spotlight. He has collaborated with artists like Travis Scott, Dov Toliver, Blood Orange, and even Belle and Sebastian. As much as his music is celebrated, he is also beloved for his work as a producer.
Since the release of his first EP, Left Alone At Night, in 2009, he has released 15 albums, three of which are solely instrumental, 13 singles, and four EPs.
His newest and eighth full-length studio record, Hole Erth, was released this past September. Toro y Moi’s has an unusual ability to genre-shift for each album. He has created a purely unique rap-pop album with a hint of “Soundcloud rap and emo” sounds.
