According to Brooklyn Vegan, Halsey just announced pair of intimate album release shows in both New York City, and Austin. The artist is also set to do a Halloween set for Amazon Music Live, which will stream on November 1st at 12am. The Great Impersonator will be Halsey’s fifth LP, which is set to release on October 25th via Columbia. The album is influenced by many famous artists like David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Cher, Stevie Nicks, and more. Halsey’s been taking to social media to share snippets of these songs and the icons that influenced the sound. The artist has built up excitement surrounding the album, by putting plenty of detail in these social media impersonations and really channeling each artist, effortlessly, and beautifully. The intricate and thoughtful approach to this new album, is definitely intriguing the masses, as we are all excited to see where these inspirations will take Halsey’s, The Great Impersonator. Tickets to the album release performances will be acquired by request, which will start tomorrow, Sunday October 20th. Tickets will be on sale through Ticketmaster, for both the NYC show and Austin show.
