Gang Of Four will say farewell on their last tour at Sony Hall on April 24th

Gang Of Four, an English post-punk band, formed in Leeds in 1976, is coming to New York this April. 2025 represents 45 years of Gang Of Four and the band is choosing to use this North American tour, as their ‘Long Goodbye’. According to Brooklyn Vegan, the band mentioned, “So, on what will be our last US tour, we’ll play two sets at each show: Entertainment! from start to finish in the first, and the best of the rest in the second. Come and join in, it’ll be blast!” The band members from Gang Of Four have evolved and changed over time, and the bass duties on the tour are still TBD. So far, the lineup includes original members Jon King, Hugo Burnham, and slint guitarist David Pajo. On October 25th, Matador Records plans on releasing a remastered version of Gang Of Four’s third album, Songs Of The Free. Before the 2025 tour kicks off in Massachusetts on April 20th, the group will play two U.S shows, one in Gloucester, and another appearance at the Levitation Festival in Austin on November 1st. Tickets to the Thursday April 24th show at Sony Hall are currently sold out, and were selling for $51.88 USD. for Standing Room Only.
