Foster The People will perform at The Salt Shed in Chicago on Feb. 15, 2025, in honor of their newest album, Paradise State Of Mind, released a few weeks ago in August 2024. Good Neighbors will join them on tour as the opener.
Foster The People, formed in L.A. in 2009 and founded by lead singer and frontman Mark Foster and keyboardist Isom Innis, have made their name in the music industry for 15 years. Their other touring members include guitarist Zane Carney, bassist Michah Moffett, and drummer Aaron Steele.
The band started as a jingle-writing group for a few years before their 2010 hit “Pumped Up Kicks” became a viral phenomenon.
“Pumped Up Kicks” (2010) got the band major attention, and from it, they were presented with music managers and record deals left and right. After signing their record deal, they released their first album Torches (2011) which, of course, included their debut song.
Since then, the band has released four more studio albums including their most recent Paradise State Of Mind (2024), four EPs, and 32 singles.
Tickets for this event will go on pre-sale on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. CST. You can sign up for pre-sale directly through the band’s website fosterthepeople.com/tour.
