We Are Scientists 50th Anniversary Tour is coming to the Bowery Ballroom on December 4th

We Are Scientists, a New York City-based rock band formed in California, is coming to New York this December. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Keith Murray, bass guitarist Chris Cain, and drummer Keith Carne. The band has already toured in the UK on their Brain Thrust Mastery tour and plan to play their 2008 second album in full. According to MNPR, the band maintains a strong sense of theater and comedy in their live performances, offering seminars in self-improvement called “Brain Thrust Mastery”. In 2008, their lead single “After Hours” reached No.15 in the charts, along with a few other singles hitting the charts, after the albums’ release. The band has stayed busy along with the re-release of the album, by touring all summer, performing at Glastonbury, T In The Park, and both Reading and Leeds festivals. Their debut album, With Love And Squalor became such an influential album, creating a strong fan base for the group in Britain, before being released in America a year later. There’s no doubt that both U.K and U.S fans, all around, have been waiting for a moment to celebrate the anniversary with Brain Thrust Mastery and many other hits. Tickets to the Wednesday December 4th show at Bowery Ballroom are still on sale, and selling for $35 USD. for General Admission standing.
