With the release of her newest album, Chaos Angel (2024), Maya Hawke will begin her tour in March of 2024. She is set to perform in Chicago at the Riviera Theatre on Mar. 25, 2025, with opener Katy Kirby.
Maya Hawke, best known for her role as Robin in the hit Netflix show Stranger Things, began writing and releasing music just a few years ago in 2019. Her first released single, “To Love a Boy/Stay Open” (2019), kickstarted her musical career in the folk and indie genre. Her first studio album, Blush dropped the following year in 2020.
She has released a total of three albums, one EP and 17 singles. Her newest album, Chaos Angel (2024), following her most successful album, MOSS (2022), was widely anticipated. She has also released an EP called Clipped Wings EP, that gained her major attention for this upcoming tour.
Her music is mainly the folk persuasion with influences from Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan. Chaos Angel focuses on the simplistic ways that Hawke is coming into herself as a musician. She has taken the popularity she gained from acting and transformed it into a melodious and whimsical music journey.
