The Garden at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom on Nov. 7

The Garden is coming to Chicago on Nov. 7 for a thrilling performance at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom. They will be joined on stage by special guests, Cowgirl Clue, Slater, and 3L3D3P.

The Garden is a duo of twin brothers by the name of Wyatt and Fletcher Shears. They are known for their experimental rock and punk music. Each of the brothers has their solo work as well. Wyatt’s is called Enjoy while Fletcher’s is called Puzzle.

They started making music in 2011, at age 17, as a side project while they were in another band. They decided to depart and work together to pursue The Garden. Their first album, Everything Is Perfect, was released a year later in 2012. Following that, they released The Life And Times of a Paperclip (2013), which is an amalgamation of 16 songs all under two minutes long. Their shortest song, “Vada Vada” is 18 seconds long.

Together, they have released six albums. The most recent is HORSESHIT ON ROUTE 99, released in 2022. They have also released two EPs, including one of their most popular songs, “U Want the Scoop” (2017), and 11 singles. Their singles consist of songs like “California, Here We Go” (2016) which got major attention for the music video that accompanied the song where the brothers dressed up as mimes and played baseball.

They have gained a lot of attention in recent years for their take on the punk persuasion. Their sound is very niche. They incorporate a lot of clown imagery into their music and it almost sounds like the music that clowns would listen to during their smoke break.  They are also known for their maniac-like beats and lyrics.

The Garden is set to perform in Chicago at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom on Nov. 7, 2024. They will be joined by Cowgirl Clue, Slater, and 3L3D3P. Tickets can be purchased now through LiveNation LiveNation.com.
