Queens Of The Stone Age: The End is Nero Tour at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Jun. 21, 2025

Queens Of The Stone Age are coming to Chicago in honor of their The End is Nero Tour on Jun. 21, 2025. They will be joined on stage by opener The Kills.

This hard rock and alternative metal band was formed in 1996, almost 30 years ago by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme who has been the only consistent member throughout their history. This band has gone through many members including Dave Grohl on the drums. The members now include John Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar, keyboard, and bass, Michael Shuman on bass and keyboard, Dean Fertita on keyboard and synthesizer, and Jon Theodore on drums. This has been the steady lineup since 2013.

Queens Of The Stone Age was formed after the ending of Homme’s former band, Kyuss. The band’s first studio album, self-titled, Queens Of The Stone Age (1998) was recorded with former Kyuss member Alfredo Hernandez on drums.

This band has a long and plentiful history. They have recorded and released 11 albums, including their most recent, In Times New Roman…, released in 2023. They also have nine singles and two EPs.

They are known for being one of the leading bands that took on the genre of hard rock. As time passed, that morphed into metal and experimentation in punk.

Queens Of The Stone Age are set to take the stage of the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on June 21, 2025, with opener The Kills. Tickets can be purchased now through Live Nation LiveNation.com
